Cancellations are random and there is no guarantee of finding an early test date at your chosen driving test centre. Every effort is made to try to get an early test date at a test center you prefer or nearest to it but if this isn't possible the date will take priority over a particular test centre location and so a test may be booked for you at a test centre that you are not familiar with.

Practical Driving Test Cancellation dates are being booked regularly for students who have booked an Intensive Driving Course with A Driving Instructor. A Driving School offering a B Car Practical Driving Test Cancellation Checker Service.

If you would like to use the service a one off fee of £20 is payable + the DSA test fee. Test cancellations are checked manually, not by software.

There are terms and conditions to read before using the service.

Please read them to avoid any misunderstandings or disappointments.

Below are the terms and conditions written out very clearly. If you call to book the service and enquire about the fee and payment methods you will be asked if you have read the terms and conditions to be sure that everything has been understood. If you email your details or use the online booking form found on the Contact Page please include that you have read the terms and conditions.

1. A one off fee is payable in advance for one booking of an earlier B car practical driving test date from the DSA website than the B car practical driving test booking that the customer already has.

A search will be made for a B car practical driving test date nearest to the date that the customer requires and requests.

2. A guarantee is not given to provide an exact practical driving test date to the date that the customer requires and requests. Practical driving test availability is governed by the DSA only and not by A Driving Instructor Driving School. Practical driving test dates are available to anyone who has passed the theory test and is legally allowed to book a practical driving test by visiting the direct.gov website. 

The service offered by A Driving Instructor Driving School is a service to check for practical driving test cancellations only and the benefit to the customer is to save the customer time.

3. The one off payment includes the DSA practical driving test fee which is presently £62 when the practical driving test is to be booked by A Driving Instructor Driving School and hasn't been previously booked. If the practical driving test has already been booked the one off fee payable for the cancellation checker only is £20.

4. Practical driving test cancellations become available at most test centres. Every effort will be made to find a practical driving test cancellation at a test centre nearest to the customers preference but if this is not possible a test will be booked at the next nearest test centre or another practical driving test centre. There is not a guarantee of having your test booked at the test you prefer. The date will take priority over the test centre location.

5. A guarantee can not be given to the customer to find an earlier practical driving test date at the customers' chosen driving test centre. If you use this service you agree to accept the earlier practical driving test date found at a practical driving test centre offering an earlier date regardless as to the test centre location.

6. Payment must be made in advance.

7. The commitment to the customer by A Driving Instructor Driving School is to provide a practical driving test date which is earlier than the practical driving test date that the customer already has. A Driving Instructor Driving School is not responsible for insuring that the time or date booked for the customers' practical driving test is convenient for the customer. It is the customers' responsibilty to ensure that they can provide the day and time needed for the practical driving test when booked.

8. When a practical driving test cancellation is found and is booked the committment to the customer by A Driving Instructor Driving School ends.

9. The fee paid for the DSA practical driving test and the practical driving test cancellation checker service is not refundable by A Driving Instructor Driving School. When the practical driving test is being searched for on the DSA website the cancellation checker service is in action and the cancellation checker service fee is not refundable. The DSA practical driving test fee, if already used to book the DSA practical driving test is no longer refundable by 

A Driving Instructor Driving School. It is at the discretion of A Driving Instructor to make a refund to the customer when a B Car Practical Driving Test has been booked with the DSA for the customer.

10. Should the customer wish to change a practical driving test date which has been booked by A Driving Instructor Driving School for the customer, it is the customers' responsibilty to rebook the practical driving test using the DSA direct.gov  website. 

Should the customer wish to cancel their practical driving test booking and receive a refund of the practical driving test fee of £62, if the customer has paid using their credit or debit card,  the customer will  visit the direct.gov DSA website or call the DSA and cancel their practical driving test. The customer will receive a refund from the DSA of £62 only automatically paid onto the card they have used to book the test with. This may take a few weeks.

The DSA allows the customer to change a practical driving test three times without losing the DSA practical driving test fee. The customer must change or cancel a booked practical driving test no less than three days before the test to avoid losing their practical driving test fee. When there is a weekend before their driving test the period will be less.
